Improbable rock formations

This has been my favorite exercise from the Keys to Creative Drawing so far. If there's one thing Maine has besides trees, it's rocks. Gosh I love rocks. It never ceases to amaze me how many different shapes and sizes they come in. They're all over the place, as if they were sprinkled from above. I wonder if anyone has waxed poetic over rocks......

These doodles are awesome and inspiring. I think I'll go do some myself. I too like that book.

All your doodles are so carefree and fun - I am really enjoying looking at them. I love the rock formations (especially the top one), but the last three "spaghettis" in the previous post are simply fabulous. I could look at them all day.

These are such great fun, aren't they?

I love these doodles...there's something so very appealing about them. I guess it's because they remind me of rocks, which I tend to collect and lay about my house. Very nice work!

Having spent many a summer in Maine-in my youth: I can attest to the veracity of the whimsicality of these drawings. There is more truth presented here than attested to!
Ah...I envy you.
