#42 Something I'm thankful for

A friend of mine went to Northport Island and took some photos, which she shared with me. This is a sketch of one of the photos done with Rapidograph with nib 0\.35

The foreground is cracked up ice and snow. I wasn't quite sure how to depict it and so kind of doodled it. I'm not sure if I get tired half way through drawings or what, but I often do this with difficult areas.

Oh yeah - I'm very thankful I live in Maine.

Very nice work with the new pen. I really like your cross hatching and use of textures.

Isn't it fun to find a new tool you like?!! Nice shapes... and even division into fore- mid- and background and lights and darks. (Oh, and I like the truck interior you did a while back when you were stranded.

How funny! Something in computerland went seriously wonky once. Or a little wonky repeatedly.

I tried deleting the extras but it took forever to get to that spot, it would only let me do one and then it took me someplace where deleting could no longer occur. Ah well, no harm leaving them there.

Thank you everyone for the comments. It always helps to get positive feedback.

Nice drawings...both your previous key and this one of the snow. I like your linework.
Well done!
