On the last day of drawing class the teacher helped us with whatever we wanted to try. I wanted to work on a landscape and so brought in a postcard of Cape Breton Island to draw from. I had a hard time drawing the clouds until I flipped the postcard and my paper upside down - it made me concentrate on what I was seeing, not what I thought I was seeing - if that makes sense.It's not finished yet but I am very happy with how the clouds turned out. I think I will draw the rest of it upside down as well. Guess I better learn to stand on my head for when I draw outside.....
